Hallie R. Jordan, Ph.D.

Dr. Hallie Jordan is a licensed psychologist in the states of Mississippi and Florida. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from Birmingham-Southern College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She completed her general clinical psychology internship and a postdoctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine/Pain Psychology at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) in New Orleans. Dr. Jordan began her career as a pain psychologist at SLVHCS prior to continuing this role at the Pensacola VA Clinic before joining Psychological Associates. She currently serves as an Adjunct Instructor for the University of Southern Mississippi teaching a variety of online undergraduate and graduate courses focused on counseling theories and addiction psychology.
Dr. Jordan’s primary clinical interests and expertise include health psychology (particularly pain psychology, weight management, and sleep disorders), addiction psychology, and evidence-based trauma treatment. She is certified in Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (including Headache disorders), and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and has extensive training in a variety of other evidence-based modalities (e.g., Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for insomnia, depression, anxiety, and panic disorder; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). Dr. Jordan also provides medical consultation including pre-surgical psychological evaluations prior to bariatric surgery and spinal cord stimulator implantation.
