Stephen F.X. Zieman Jr., Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist, specializing in neuropsychology. He received a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern University and completed American Psychological Association approved internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Eastern Virginia Medical School and Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Virginia within the department of Neurology. Dr. Zieman conducts neuropsychological evaluations for the diagnosis of and treatment recommendations for various dementias (i.e., Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, Frontotemporal Dementia, etc.), Parkinson’s Disease, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Closed Head Injury/Post-Concussion Syndrome and Traumatic Brain Injury. Dr. Zieman also conducts pre-surgical psychological evaluations for patients seeking gastric bypass surgery and spinal cord stimulator implantation surgery. Dr. Zieman works with patients between the ages of 5 to 105. Clinical services also include individual and family therapy, competency/capacity evaluations for independent living, and functional capacity evaluations for individuals seeking social security disability. Forensic services are also offered.
